
1) Say and think positive things about yourself and others.
2) Avoid negative people (also check if you may be one of them)!
3) Associate with positive, happy and successful people.
4) Spring clean your house. Give away anything you don’t need. This creates a clear mind and space.
5) Look at releasing toxic emotions such as anger, resentment, guilt, fear and jealousy.
6) Stop being a victim and learn to forgive everyone. Letting go of the past is very cleansing to the mind.
7) Take some time out every day to completely relax. Just for yourself and ideally out in nature.
8) To do lists. Don’t procrastinate. Just do them! Procrastination depletes your energy and clutters the mind.
9) Eat a balanced diet rich in Vitamins, Minerals and Essential Fatty Acids, which are essential for the mind!
10) Start practicing Yoga and Meditation daily to clear the mind.
11) Drink at least 2 litres of water every day. Keep the mind hydrated and nourished.
12) Make a conscious effort to breathe very deeply throughout the day.
13) Learn to say NO without feeling guilty!
14) Look for new creative experiences. Using the right side of the brain creates balance and reduces stress.
15) Take time to appreciate nature – the sky, trees, flowers and birds. Nature is very cleansing.
16) Change a problem into a challenge. See a challenge as an opportunity to learn and develop.
17) Start trusting your intuition (your subconscious mind). The conscious analytical mind has very limited capability. The power of your subconscious mind is limitless! Learn self hypnosis.
18) Focus on your strengths rather than your weaknesses.
19) Use music to cleanse the mind. Singing, humming, chanting and playing music transform your energy.
20) Bring perspective to any challenge or situation. Always look for the silver lining, the bright side of life.
21) Stop comparing yourself to others. This clouds the mind and creates a negative energy in the body.
22) Use and think positive words such as happy, great, amazing, fabulous, wonderful, beautiful.
23) Avoid using and thinking negative words such as bad, terrible, awful, ugly and horrible.
24) Avoid phrases such as ‘I should have’ or ‘I shouldn’t have’.
25) Make a list of dreams and goals and everyday take some small action towards them.
26) Remember – People who achieve their goals do so with Passion, Planning, Persistence and Purpose.
27) Remember your goals should always be SMART.

28) The quickest and easiest way to detox the mind is to focus on all the great things in your life.
29) Focus on the things you love and what you are grateful for.
30) Generate feelings of happiness and the energy of your mind will transform from negative to positive, which will also have an amazing effect on your body!
