Steve is an accredited, certified fitness trainer, conditioning coach and sports massage therapist with 10 years’ experience in the fitness industry. His passion for movement mechanics and diversity of qualifications produce a comprehensive and analytical approach to each of his sessions on retreat. Through various muscle manipulation techniques and corrective exercises he can help you achieve optimal function and strength for your sport or hobby and improve your general well being.
Steve has experience in a number of areas including pre and post-event therapy, sports specific programming, weight loss, injury rehabilitation, one on one personal training, motivational speaking and much more.
His capabilities are not just restricted to the physical having also attended multiple courses abroad in the art of Chi Kung with Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit.

Postural Correction and Conditioning
This session can be an eye opening experience for anyone wanting to improve their posture or physical performance. The aim of the session is to discover the clients’ muscular strengths and weaknesses and analyses the possible causes and explore the corrective exercises together.
The session begins with a discussion about your goals, concerns and lifestyle habits followed by both a static and dynamic physical assessment and relevant movement tests. With the results and your goal in mind we will then begin an intensive corrective routine with little (if any) fitness equipment required.
The purpose is to improve your posture and equip you with the knowledge and confidence to continue the conditioning yourself at home or in the gym.
