Terms and Conditions of contacting Platinum Healing and of Booking any Service
Please read carefully before contacting us or booking a retreat.
These terms and conditions are applicable to all Platinum Healing Retreats, including those managed by any third party retreat management company or persons.
Reservations with Platinum Healing, together with its affiliates are made and accepted only on the following Terms and Conditions without modification. The terms “you,” “your” and “guest” refer to all persons who book a retreat with Platinum Healing. The specific terms of your reservation with Platinum Healing will be provided to you in a separate written confirmation. The terms and conditions of such written confirmation, along with any specific disclosures made available on the Platinum Healing website, any company documentation separately provided to you, are part of these Terms and Conditions.
Therapy Sessions with Kate Tyler
Full payment is required to secure an appointment with Kate Tyler. 24 hours notice is require to cancel an appointment with Kate Tyler. Cancellations must be done so in writing both by email and Whatsapp. No refunds or date changes will be offered within 24 hours.
RETREAT CANCELLATION POLICY
Our retreats are extremely exclusive with limited capacity. Once you book onto the retreat, we guarantee your place and may have to turn other people away. Therefore, once booked no refunds are given. If for whatever reason you need to change your booking, the following policy will apply:
You are welcome to change your retreat date, if we are given 14 days notice prior to retreat start AND we are able to fill your place. A fee of £300 is charged for each date change to cover staff time, administration and marketing costs. There are no limits to the number of date changes that you can make, provided that we can fill your place. No date change will be confirmed until the admin fee has been received. No changes can be made within 14 days of the retreat start.
If you wish to transfer your booking to a friend or relative, 14 days notice is also required and a £100 administration fee will be applied to cover staff time and any such changes. Transfer of payment for your booking should also be managed by you. No transfer will be confirmed until the admin fee has been received. No changes can be made within 14 days of the retreat start.

Covid-19 Specific Cancellation Terms
If we are unable to run a retreat due to Covid-19 restrictions, you will be offered a free open ended date transfer with 100% credit. All treatments pre booked will also be transferred to your chosen future date.
If you prefer a refund, you will be required to notify us within 7 days of receipt of confirmation that we have cancelled the retreat date. We will then issue a refund within 14 days and your non-refundable deposit can be transferred to a future retreat date. If you do not contact us within 7 days to request a refund, a credit will be applied to your account that can be used against any future retreat date. No refunds will be offered in any circumstance, after this 7 day period and once you have agreed to an open ended date transfer.
Retreat availability is not guarenteed, so the retreat date change will be open ended for whenever a suitable date is available. No refunds will be offered if suitable dates are not advertised or available. The credit will remain until the guest is able to attend a future retreat date. The retreat can however be transfered to another person/guest.
If a future date change is subject to any price increase, the balance will be payable by the guest at time of transfering the booking to secure a future date.
Travel, Health Insurance and Payment Protection Insurance
All guests MUST have adequate travel insurance, insurance to cover your full retreat payment as well as appropriate health and medical insurance at time of booking a retreat with us. You must have adequate cover should you or anyone in your party be unable to attend the retreat.
You should also have appropriate travel and health insurance at time of booking a retreat with us. Insurance cover is expected to include, but is not limited to:
- Death, injury, or illness happening to you, a member of your family or a friend.
- Falling pregnant prior to your retreat start date
- Any change in your personal circumstances or health
- A recommendation by your GP not to detox after you have already made a retreat booking
- Adverse weather conditions including snow, frost, fog or storm, any other travel complications, flight cancellations or any other reason you would not be able to attend the retreat
- Strike action or other union activity preventing or causing delay to travel.
- Restrictions to travel, including ALL Covid-19 restrictions
- Mechanical breakdown, accident, fire or theft en-route of a private vehicle taking you to the retreat
- Delays or complication with Visa’s or other travel documents.
- Jury service and court summons
Platinum Healing WILL NOT be liable for any cancellations due to adverse weather conditions, illness, changes in personal circumstance or health, travel complications, Covid-19 restrictions or any other reason whatsoever.
A retreat booking will only be secured upon receipt of full payment, including a non-refundable deposit of £600. Until we have received the full retreat payment, no booking or treatments will be guaranteed. All places are subject to availability at the time of you making your full retreat payment. If payment is made for a specific retreat date and during the time of your funds clearing the retreat fully books, a full refund will be offered or an alternative retreat date.
Please check the details on the booking confirmation carefully. If any of the details are incorrect or have changed from the time the reservation was made, then you must inform us within 24 hours. No reservations shall be valid until full payment has been received.
The balance of your retreat should be received 90 days prior to retreat start (unless otherwise specified). Bookings made within 90 days of retreat start must be paid for in full.
Clients whose balances are not received by the 90 day deadline risk forfeiting their retreat booking as we will be required to open up the waiting list after this deadline. Your deposit payment will also be lost.
Any additional treatments must be paid for at the time of booking them. Pre booked treatments are only confirmed once full payment for the retreat and for treatments has been received.
Any additional treatments booked during your retreat will be invoiced separately.
Platinum Healing reserves the right to terminate any retreat or treatment booking where any monies due are owed 30 days prior to retreat start date.
Rates are in GBP (Great British Pound). All rates are subject to change without notice. Prices are quoted to the guest on the day that payment is taken and booking is confirmed. Any change in price following a booking, including a reduction in price will NOT be subject to any refund by Platinum Healing for the difference in price.
Juice Detox Program Choice
We offer two juice detox options which are as follows;
• Standard Juice Cleanse (80% veg 20% fruit) – recommended
• Green cleanse (100% green juice) – for experienced detoxers who already adopt a mainly alkaline diet, little or no meat and little or no caffeine etc
You have been automatically put down for the recommended Standard Juice Cleanse if you do not choose an option at time of booking. Should you wish to opt for the Green Cleanse please inform us at least two weeks prior to retreat start. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you are happy to remain on the Standard Juice Cleanse. It is not possible to change your mind on retreat at all as we pre order all produce prior to the retreat start.
Retreat programs, accommodations, activities and services are often supplied by 3rd parties, referred to herein as “Retreat Management Companies” who are not agents, employees, or subcontractors of Platinum Healing and as such, Platinum Healing is not responsible or liable for their acts or omissions and cannot be held liable in the event of loss of personal property or personal injury whilst participating in any activity.
Terms of Booking a Home Detox Retreat
One of our terms and conditions of booking any program with us is that you seek medical advice and clearance from your GP. We are NOT a medical or mental health facility. We are a company providing guidance on self-healing only to individuals that DO NOT require more specific specialised care. We do not provide treatment for any mental or physical illness. Failure to inform us of any physical or mental illness may result in us asking you to leave the retreat. No refunds will be given in such instance.
A juice detox may not be suitable for everyone, so please check with your doctor or medical professional before undertaking any health or wellness program. Juice cleanse programs are not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, people taking specific medication or with certain medical conditional.
Please also note that the suppliers of juices and meals that can be incorporated into our home detox program are completely independent of Platinum Healing.
The chosen independent supplier of juices is not able to deliver to those who have allergies that result in anaphylactic shock or diabetics who are insulin dependent. All juice products are made in a kitchen that contains nuts. In ordering from them directly you agree that you do not have an allergy to nuts and that neither our independent suppliers or Platinum Healing will be responsible for any reaction you may have to nuts or any other ingredients.
The chosen independent suppliers’ products are 100% raw and are not pasteurised and therefore may not be suitable for vulnerable groups such as young children, pregnant women, the elderly, and persons with weakened immune systems.
If you are taking medication, please keep taking it. If you are taking medication for thyroid conditions please be aware that many of our supplier’s juices contain raw cruciferous vegetables such as spinach, kale and broccoli. Their phytonutrients may interfere with the thyroid medication and can make thyroid conditions worst. Please ALWAYS speak to your GP about ALL drug-food combinations you are best avoiding as we are legally unable to advise you on this or any other medical condition queries.
Platinum Healing cannot be liable for any issues with delivery, faulty items or any other issues with the third-party independent suppliers. Please contact them directly with any issues or complaints that you have about their products or services. Please also notify us if you are experiencing issues with these suppliers.
Delivery of Home Detox Box or Juices
As our supplements and juices are delivered to our clients by a third party partner, we cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery. If your juices and supplements do not arrive in time for your chosen Home Detox Retreat, then you can move to the next available date.
All our supplements come direct from a third-party supplier. Please refer to full list of ingredients and check for any contraindications with your GP or healthcare professional.
All supplements should be stored in a cool dry place.
Cautions: Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed the daily recommended intake. The supplements we send to you during your detox should never be used as a substitute for a varied diet post retreat. Do not use if lid seal is broken. Long term intake of greater than 10mg vitamin B6 daily may lead to mild tingling and numbness. More than 7mg/per day beta carotene should not be consumed by heavy smokers. Our home detox is not suitable if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Special Offers/Promotional Activity
Special offers/promotions and all retreat package inclusions may vary. Platinum Healing reserve the right to make changes at any time.
From time to time Platinum Healing will decide to offer retreats at a promotional rate or include free treatments or products in order to fill a retreat last minute and avoid cancelling the date altogether. These reduced rates / treatments / offers /products cannot be added to a pre-existing booking.
Vouchers and Special Offers
Treatment vouchers or vouchers for special offers are not to be used in conjunction with any other offer. This includes free treatment(s) at time of booking, money off for last minute bookings and offers from third party retreat advertising companies. Only one free treatment is offered per retreat, per guest. Only one special offer is available per retreat, per guest. The guest is to choose one offer they would like to take advantage of. Platinum Healing accept no liability for vouchers that are lost or stolen.
We have compiled the information in our marketing materials and on our website as accurately as possible at the time of production. However, facilities may be altered or withdrawn for reasons outside Platinum Healings control, in which case we cannot accept responsibility for inconvenience incurred. We make every effort to ensure that the property details are accurately reproduced. Mistakes may occur from time to time, and confirmation should be requested prior to confirmation of a booking.
If you are the lucky winner of a Platinum Healing prize, the following terms & conditions will be applicable. Prize valid for up to 12 months of receipt unless otherwise stated. Prize winner will be responsible for contacting Platinum Healing to claim prize. Prize is subject to availability and Platinum Healing terms and conditions. No cash alternative will be given. The prize does not include transportation to the chosen Platinum Healing Retreat. No other special offer or free treatment or voucher can be used by a prize winner. Only one voucher or special offer can be used at a time.
Guest acknowledges and agrees that all bookings made and confirmed online, by email, via telephone and confirmed by Platinum Healing shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions.
By booking a retreat, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Additional terms and conditions may apply to the retreat management companies. To review and accept such additional terms and conditions please contact each applicable retreat management company. Kindly note that on occasions, a retreat management company may have more stringent or restrictive terms and conditions than the terms and conditions set forth herein. In such cases, the retreat management company’s terms and conditions shall apply/prevail. Furthermore, and for clarity, in the event the terms and conditions set forth herein are more stringent or restrictive than the retreat management companies terms and conditions, the terms and conditions set forth herein shall apply/prevail.
Your principal agreement is with Platinum Healing Limited. whose registered office address is 30 Church Road, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, England RH15 9AE. Our agreement with you binds you (the person named on the confirmation), and all members of your party/group, including children and any visitors. You must ensure all members of your party/group are aware of these Terms and Conditions.
Guest acknowledges and agrees that Platinum Healing may use electronic means (including, without limitation, via email and the Platinum Healing website) to provide notices under and otherwise implement these Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions detailed on our website supersede all previous editions.
If you are joining a Platinum Healing Retreat with a Free Press Pass or at a discounted rate for your services you and any publications you are writing for are legally bound to our full terms and conditions including our cancellation policy.
You or the company you are writing for will be liable for the total retreat package amount and any treatments booked should you cancel/drop out last minute and we are unable to fill your place, or if you do not provide us with a feature online or in print as agreed.
You are required to attend and complete the whole programme. This is from the Monday at 4pm to the Friday at 10am.
Platinum Healing are to be shown the proof of the article written before it goes live to enable us to ensure the facts are correct about the retreat venue, programme, staffing, juice cleanse, treatments and therapies.
Arriving Late or Leaving Early
If the client chooses to arrive late or leave early before the end of the retreat, Platinum Healing Ltd will NOT refund any unused night’s accommodation or payment for treatments pre booked.
Platinum Healing Ltd cannot be held responsible for any loss of travel costs incurred for any reason.
Transfers to the venue are to be arranged by the client. Full details will be provided at time of booking to assist you with travel arrangements.
We offer a variety of treatments and services as part of our retreats. Each individual who visits us is different, whether it be in weight, height, age, gender, medical background or simply in their purpose for attending our retreat. As such, it’s important to be aware that results are not guaranteed. Outcomes and results may vary from person to person.
Treatments and Therapies
We carefully select our third-party service partners; however, our service partners are independently operated and not employees of Platinum Healing. Therefore, Platinum Healing is not responsible or liable for actions taken by these service partners or any injury that may result from the provision of these services.
Treatment and Therapy Descriptions
Therapy descriptions on our website and treatment menu are subject to change at any time without notice. Therapies will also vary dependant on the therapist’s style of working and school of training. Your therapist may also suggest an alternative tool or therapy more appropriate for you at any time during your session or retreat. We cannot guarantee that a therapy will be identical or even similar to that which you have experienced with other therapist on the retreat, or even outside of the retreat. This is particularly important if you yourself are a trained therapist. Please go into your session with an open mind without expectation to really gain full benefits.
Treatment Inclusions on Retreat Packages
If for any reason we are unable to offer you treatments that are advertised and included in certain packages, we will offer you an alternative treatment. In many packages you have a choice of either Reflexology OR Acupuncture. If you do not inform us prior to the retreat which option you prefer, we will automatically book you for a Reflexology treatment. Once booked this cannot be changed.
Treatment Booking Locations, Dates and Times
Please inform us within 30 days of retreat start if you have a preference on days your treatments will take place during the retreat. Where possible we will aim to honour such request (subject to availability of therapists). If you do not request certain days within 30 days of retreat start then your treatments will be scheduled for you. We cannot accept any requests within 30 days prior to retreat start, as we schedule all therapists in advance who block out their diary for your treatments. Treatments may also be conducted in guest bedrooms, treatment rooms, yoga studio or other spaces depending on availability. No changes to treatments whatsoever can be made within 30 days of retreat start.
Consuming Anything Outside of Our Program
The less your body has to process during a detox the better. Eating and consuming anything outside of our program such as protein shakes will slow the detox process down. It is strictly prohibited to consume anything outside of our program in front of other retreat guests in any public areas. We also request that you refrain from mentioning that you are using anything outside of the program or discussing this in front of the group or with anyone individually. This can be extremely disruptive to the rest of the group and the group leaders. The program is tried tested and it really works. We recommend really sticking to the program we offer and please kindly respect the other guests as they are coming to us to fully dive into a complete fasting program.
Pre-Existing Medical Conditions
You must make Platinum Healing Ltd aware at the time of booking of any pre-existing medical conditions, as it may not be possible for you to undertake all of the treatments included in your chosen package due to contra-indications.
If you do have pre-existing medical conditions, once Platinum Healing Ltd has received your booking form and if the various therapists feel it necessary we will then discuss with you an alternative option.
Failure to notify Platinum Healing Ltd in advance i.e. on your Booking Form, may result in you not being able to attend or continue with the retreat or undertake any treatments that may have possible contra-indications.
If you fail to provide us with correct information that results in you not being able to attend the retreat you will be liable for the full amount paid.
Contraindications to attending a Retreat
Platinum Healing is NOT a medical, mental health or rehab facility and DO NOT have any trained medical staff onsite. If you are under the care of a medical practitioner, please supply us with a written approval to undertake any of our retreats and/or holistic therapies. If any of the below applies to you, please contact us:

Insulin Dependent Diabetes
History of Heart Issues/Disease
Rehab (within the past 2 years)
Anorexia or underweight
Recent Operations (within the past 2 years)
Contraindications of Therapies
All therapists must be made aware of ALL health conditions due to certain contraindications or cautions for holistic treatments. Please let us know if any of the below apply to you as you may not be able to have certain treatments and therapies. You are responsible for informing us of any contraindications.
I understand that the retreat or any therapist will not diagnose or treat any illness, disease, or any other medical, physical, or mental health disorders. I am responsible for consulting a qualified physician for any physical or mental health ailment I may have or suspect that I have.

Skin conditions such as Cellulitis, Impetigo, Herpes, Athletes foot, Warts, Verruca’s
Deep Vein Thrombosis
High Blood Pressure

Autoimmune Conditions (MS, Lupus, RA, etc)
Inflammatory bowel condition
Oedema or Lymphedema
I understand that a therapist does not diagnose illness, disease, or any other medical, physical, or mental disorders. I am responsible for consulting a qualified physician for any physical ailment I may have.
Contraindications of Enema’s
Enemas are contraindicated in guests with;
Rectal obstruction by tumour
Active Coronary Heart Disease
Recent Rectal or Colon Surgery
Cancer of the Rectum or Colon
Congestive Heart Failure
Kidney Disease (decreased kidney function)
Fissures or Fistulas
Please inform us if any of the above applies to you. By agreeing to the enema package, you agree that you have clearance from your GP and none of the above applies to you.
To attend a retreat or participate in any retreat activity including classes and treatments you must receive clearance from your GP/Personal Physician and you assume full responsibility for obtaining such clearance.
If you are taking medication of any kind you must consult your doctor before embarking on a retreat.
Persons Receiving Psychiatric Care, Severe Mental Illness, suffering from Alcoholism or Drug Abuse
Unfortunately, we cannot accept any persons who require or are currently under psychiatric care, with a severe mental illness, alcoholism and/or drug abuse/addiction, or who have been in rehab in the last two years. Our staff are NOT qualified medical professionals or psychiatrists and therefore unable to support those with such issues. Including: Bipolar, schizophrenia, hallucinations (visual/auditory), has severe anxiety disorders, severe depression, alcoholism, drug addiction, self-harming or suicidal thoughts. If we have any reason whatsoever to believe that you may put yourself or others at risk or in an uncomfortable position during a retreat with us, we reserve the right to refuse a booking. If you fail to inform us of any physical or mental illness, you will be asked to leave the retreat with immediate effect. If we believe that you are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs during a retreat, or putting yourself or others at harm during a retreat, you will be asked to leave with immediate effect. Please note that if you are in breach of this agreement and you have been asked to leave, no refund will be given on the cost of the retreat package or any treatments booked or reserved. Any unused treatments booked on retreat will be fully chargeable.
We are unable to accept anyone who is insulin dependent (type 1 Diabetes) on a detox retreat.
We will not accept pregnant or nursing women.
We will not accept anyone who is below the NHS recommended BMI (body mass index) of 18 or suffering with anorexia on a detox retreat.
You must inform us immediately if any of the above applies to you after your initial booking.
Before you book, please discuss your choice of location, retreat program, accommodation and any specific requirements you have to make sure it will be suitable for you. All special requirements or preferences should be brought to our attention by the guest prior to them making a booking
Special Dietary Requirements
Everything on our retreat is natural, vegan, gluten free, wheat free and dairy free. We offer a set menu included in the price of the retreat. Please inform us if you have any specific special requirements, food preferences, intolerance’s and allergies. If this means that we are required to alter the program in any way to cater for your requirements a supplement of £25 per night will be charged (£100 for 4 nights will be added to the price of your retreat package for this additional service). If our nutritionists, kitchen staff or management are required to create a completely new menu for you an additional surcharge will be applied depending on the time required to do so.
Platinum Healing reserves the right to substitute accommodations as and when necessary. All reservations are on a first come-first serve basis. Availability is determined by Platinum Healing in its sole and absolute discretion. Specific bedroom numbers and bed configurations are not always guaranteed.
If you wish to share a room, we can organise a person for you to share with. We will ensure that it will be someone of the same gender. If you choose a Sharing room, then Platinum Healing Ltd can take no responsibility for the actions of the person(s) you are sharing with. If you are unhappy for any reason whether it be snoring, clash of personalities, annoying habits, a disagreement or any other reason Platinum Healing Ltd will not be held responsible. Due to the exclusivity of our retreats and limited spaces if you are unhappy we will not be able to move you.
Bookings shall not be accepted from persons less than eighteen (18) years of age. On some occasions we may accept persons 16 years or over if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. This is completely at the discretion of Platinum Healing and assessed on a case by case basis. Platinum Healing reserves the right to refuse any reservation either at the time of booking or upon arrival at a Platinum Healing Retreat destination. Any reservation obtained under false pretences will be subject to forfeiture of payments and such guests may not be allowed to check-in or asked to vacate the premises. Our apologies but our retreat is not suitable for people under the age of 18 years.
Disabilities Access Statement
This statement describes the access, procedures and facilities, as they might apply to, and for the benefit of persons with disabilities.
We would wish your stay with us to be as comfortable as possible, so please do not hesitate to ask if you have any concerns about access or there is anything that would make your stay more enjoyable.
The cottages at our Glastonbury venue date from the 16th Century and have many original features and therefore although every effort has been made to make the property as accessible to as many people as possible this may at times be more difficult for people who are wheelchair bound or with other severe mobility disabilities. Please study the layout of the cottage you have booked or are booking. Cottage plans are available by contacting us at email@example.com.
Emergency Action Information
Smoke detectors are fitted in all cottages. C02 detectors are fitted in cottages with wood burners and gas boilers.
Emergency information is detailed in the guest information packs in each cottage, adjacent to all firefighting equipment, and can be communicated verbally if required.
The emergency assembly point is in the main car park.
The car park is laid to 10mm clean gravel. This area is well lit at night-time via motion sensor.
Complex lighting is provided by the main door to each cottage. Lights are on motion sensors.
Access to the reception/shop is via a gravelled area and either 2 steps or a gentle ramp.
Access to the cottages is via gravel paths and stone paths.
Due to the age of the complex some of the paths are a little uneven.
Due to the age and many original features, access to the cottages and their bedrooms is in some cases via narrow doors and stairways.
Cottage and bathroom configurations are shown on individual cottage floor plans. Grab rails are installed in most bathrooms.
There is a TV and DVD player in all the cottages.
Guests are always shown to their cottages and everything about the cottage and complex is explained at that time – this information is also available in a folder in each cottage as well as in the welcome letter.

Swimming Pool Access
The pool is accessed via an entrance hallway laid to tiles with a small step to get into the porch.
There are bars on the steps into the pool for ease of access.

Inappropriate Behaviour and Conduct
Platinum Healing reserves the right to refuse or eject anyone from our retreats if they are rude, aggressive, unpleasant and/or offensive in any way to any of our team members, either by phone or in person. We put our heart and soul into ensuring that everyone’s experience is a pleasurable one and we always expect all guests be respectful to our team. Rude, aggressive or offensive behaviour towards any of our team members is not acceptable. We reserve the right to ask you or any member of your party/group to leave the property immediately, or cancel your booking prior to the retreat start, if you have displayed any of the above behaviours prior to your arrival. NO refunds or compensation will be given and we reserve the right not to accept any future reservations from you.
Behaviour should not be excessive, noisy or disruptive. By booking a retreat with Platinum Healing you are accepting our ‘zero tolerance policy’ towards disruptive guests. Offensive or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in the involvement of the local authorities.
Any guest found to be actively ignoring the health and safety guidelines, misusing any property of Platinum Healing, the retreat venue or other guests will be asked to leave with immediate effect and again NO refund will be given on the retreat package cost or any treatments booked.
Additional treatments booked on retreat will also be chargeable.
Alcohol and Illegal Substances
No alcohol, recreational drugs or illegal substances may be brought to the retreat venue OR purchased onsite during your health retreat with Platinum Healing. We are a health retreat and as such, any guest thought to be under the influence on arrival or found to be intoxicated or under the influence during the retreat will be asked to leave with immediate effect and NO refund will be given on the retreat package cost or any treatments booked. Platinum Healing is not a rehabilitation facility. If you feel you have issues with alcohol or drugs, please disclose this at the time of booking.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere onsite at any of the Platinum Healing locations. A set fine of £150 is applicable should a guest be found smoking anywhere on the property to pay for the deep clean required.
Stop Smoking Retreat
If you are on a Stop Smoking Program we will endeavour to book your first smoking cessation session as early on into the retreat, however this is not always possible. It is completely at the discretion of the client when they choose to have their final cigarette. However, we do recommend that you do this before you arrive and then dispose of your cigarettes. Please feel free to hand them to the Retreat Manager who will dispose of them for you.
Activities and Entertainment
If you are someone that requires constant activities or distractions this is a perfect time for you to slow down and break out of this habit. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide constant entertainment and activities during the retreat. To do this would also go against what we are trying to promote. Being present and in the moment, giving space to allow emotions to surface, to look within and to slow down.
Vehicles parked at out locations are subject to no security cover. Vehicles should be locked and all valuables removed. We accept no liability for any theft, accident, loss or damage to your vehicle and property.
WiFi access, where available, is not guaranteed. Wi-Fi may not be available in all areas, may not always be operational or can at times run slowly due to the rural nature of the locations in which Platinum Healing operates. Guest understands that NO refunds will be given for limited internet connectivity or lack of services. The Wi-Fi system at Platinum Healing is provided free of charge as a value added service.
Platinum Healing or the retreat venue will not be responsible for any items left behind by a guest. Lost property will be stored at our storage locker and can be collected only on specific dates that we are running retreats. Any items that are found and are not claimed or collected within 30 days will be donated to charity. Guests may also arrange for a courier collection on a set day as agreed by the Manager. We can also organise for one of our managers to arrange postage and package of items at a charge of 15 pounds for their time, plus royal mail postage and also any packaging costs.
Keys must be returned on departure. Any keys not handed in will incur a £20 charge.
Our Glastonbury retreat venue does allow well behaved dogs in selected cottages. There is a small additional charge per dog of £15 for stays of 4 days. This can be paid for on arrival. In addition to this one off charge (for extra cleaning required) a refundable £50 deposit is required for bookings with dogs.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, any mess cleaned up, and dogs should not be left unattended at any time in the cottages. One person will always need to be with the dog. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture.
Owners of dogs onsite are responsible for their dogs good behaviour and must ensure they have suitable liability insurance for their dog. On departure dog owners are asked to vacuum/sweep up any dog hair around the property. Dogs are also not to enter any of the group rooms during the retreat; such as the juice bar/lounge, yoga studio etc.
Most guests are generally fine with animals, but as the guests come for various reasons such as PTSD, allergies, rest etc.. we just need to be cautious and respectful of the others and the group spaces.
Changes to Terms
Terms and conditions may be changed by Platinum Healing Limited at any time.
Changes to Retreat or Treatments
All information on our website and any written or verbal form of correspondence is correct at the time of publication.
Platinum Healing Ltd reserves the right to change the retreat schedule and any of the inclusive components of any retreat package at any given time without prior notice.
Should it be necessary to make any changes to your retreat package or treatments before or during your retreat owing to staff illness, absence, mechanical faults, weather conditions, what insurance companies call ‘acts of god’ or any other unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to do so and will always endeavour to provide an equivalent alternative, which may also be offered post retreat via Skype or Zoom.
If we are unable to provide an alternative class or session that was included in the standard package for any reason, you may be offered a complimentary treatment or a small discount off your final invoice total at the discretion of the Manager. For workshops and treatments that are NOT part of the standard retreat package and have been part of a special offer or as part of a promotion, we will NOT offer any refund to the value of such inclusion but will endeavour to provide an alternative.
Changes to Prices
Retreat prices advertised on our website may change at any time at our discretion. We may also reduce prices to fill last minute places. The price is as advertised at the time of booking and some people may pay less for last minute places. No refunds are given for any difference in price to other guests who booked a retreat at the full price. We aim to fill all retreats to avoid us having to cancel them due to not reaching capacity.
In the very unlikely event of our booking team double booking your space on a retreat date, Platinum Healing cannot offer you alternative accommodation offsite. A date change will be offered to you. Platinum Healing will only be responsible for the full retreat price paid and any pre booked treatments.
Alternative Venue or Location
If we are required to change our retreat venue for any reason, you will be offered a transfer to the new venue option.
Withdrawal of Facilities or Services
Facilities and accommodations may be altered or services withdrawn for reasons outside of Platinum Healing’s Control.
There may be differences between text, photographs and illustrations from any third party marketing materials and on Platinum Healing’s own website.
If a particular facility is of importance, please check with us prior to booking your retreat.
Rates, accommodations, property descriptions, amenities, and rental conditions are subject to change without notice and are at the sole and absolute discretion of Platinum Healing.
Platinum Healing will not accept responsibility should the accommodations not conform to a guest’s personal standards or for inconveniences incurred as a result of guests experiences differing from that portrayed in marketing materials.
Sharing of Information
All the information provided on the Platinum Healing website and any other documents, emails and correspondence sent out by PHL should not be construed as medical advice. We do not accept any responsibility for any consequence that occurs from the usage of this site or any of our material.
Privacy and Personal Information
No personal information given to Platinum Healing Ltd will be passed on or sold to a third party. Your booking form and any health information may be shared with appropriate members of the Platinum Healing team or emergency medical staff should we deem it either necessary or appropriate to ensure the holistic nature of our retreat.
Security on Retreat
In the interest of security, cameras are located at all main access points at our retreat venue in Sussex, including the main gate and pedestrian gate.
All electronic data transferred to guests or handed out during a retreat remains the property of Platinum Healing and may not be replicated, in part or whole, without prior permission from Platinum Healing. Electronic data may not be preserved and retained by Platinum Healing indefinitely.
All the information we collect and hold about you will be stored in computer and other filing systems. We collect and keep information about you to enable us to administer our services to you, to conduct market research and provide you with information about our products and services. If you do not wish to be contacted by us, please write to us by email at email@example.com or click unsubscribe on our newsletters.
Please note that we are not liable for any accident or injury occurred during the duration of your stay, and in booking with us you are acknowledging this fact. It is essential that you take out travel insurance as soon as you book your retreat, which will cover you for any emergencies, delays and cancellations to your booking.
If you are asked to leave the retreat for breaching any of our Terms & Conditions, or if you are in breach of our retreat Ground Rules, no part of the retreat fee or for treatments booked will be refunded.
We cannot offer a date change or refund in the event of a natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, travel complications or ANY other situation out of our control.
We will make every effort to provide the retreat agreed. However, we reserve the right to alter or cancel the venue or date of a retreat, for any cause beyond our reasonable control. In the very unlikely event that we should need to cancel or change a retreat for unforeseen circumstances, or if minimum numbers have not been reached, you will be offered a date transfer for your booking to the next available date, or any future retreat date. Platinum Healing Limited will not be liable for travel costs, insurance, transfers or any other related costs incurred. Our liability will be limited to the transfer of your retreat to another date in the future only and we will not be liable for any other direct or indirect loss, cost or expense, of any nature, however caused.
Platinum Healing shall not be liable for damages for any closure hereunder if such delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its control or the control of any retreat management company, but not limited to, weather conditions, acts of God, force majeure, strikes, civil commotions, embargoes, and wars or other hostilities, whether actual, threatened or reported, and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Platinum Healing or any of the Retreat Management Companies
Cancelling or Changing Treatments
Once treatments have been pre booked and confirmed they can be changed or cancelled where possible but only by giving us at least 30 days notice prior to retreat start. Additional treatments can be booked during a retreat subject to availability. Additional treatments once booked during a retreat cannot be changed or cancelled.
No shows will be charged the full treatment price. Late arrivals to treatment will also forfeit the time lost. No extra time will be added to accommodate late arrival.
Standard of Property
Guests shall keep the property and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the property in the same state of repair, cleanliness and general order as at the commencement of their stay. Guests must promptly report and pay to Platinum Healing the cost of repair and replacement of any damage or breakages made during their stay. Guests are fully responsible for their actions and decisions as well as the actions and decisions of any family members, during a retreat. Following guest’s departure from the property, an inspection of the accommodations occupied by such guests shall be completed by Platinum Healing and Platinum Healing is authorised to charge guests for any and all losses and damages sustained to the accommodations during your reservation to such guest’s credit/debit card, or Platinum Healing has the right to invoice you for any such amounts and you shall immediately pay such invoice. Guests’ agree to indemnify Platinum Healing for any damages to the accommodation, grounds, furnishings, and household items, which is a result of your occupancy.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF STAYING AT THE RETREAT
The Guests agree: –
a. To pay for any losses or damage to the property
b. To take good care of the property and to not wear shoes in any of the carpeted areas.
c. To permit the owners and their agents reasonable access to the property
d. Not to part with possession of the property, or share it, except with members of the party listed when booking
e. Not to cause an annoyance or become a nuisance to occupants of adjoining premises. This includes not playing music after 11pm
f. Not to smoke anywhere on the property
g. To inform the Retreat Manager or Owners of any problems or breakages immediately
h. To maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the retreat
i. To respect the other guests and retreat staff at all times
Use of Special Features:
Platinum Healing shall accept no liability for accidents or claims arising from use of any facilities at the venues used for their retreats. This includes, saunas, steam rooms, Jacuzzis, outdoor/indoor fitness studios/areas, pools, fireplaces/ ire pits etc (herein after called special features). Guests understand there are certain risks/dangers involved in the use of these special features. In particular, but without limitation, guests understand that there are potential risks involved in the overuse of these special features that could result in danger to health. If the guest had health issues or is currently taking any kind of medication extra caution is of paramount importance. The Guests understand the risks discussed above and agrees that he/she will assume full responsibility for him/herself should any consequences arise from the use of the special features.
Platinum Healing and the property owner do not provide supervision or safety equipment and make no representations about the safety of any special features. Your use, of any of these special features is your responsibility and is at your own risk at all times. Guests agree to indemnify Platinum Healing for any claims made by the guest arising from the guests use of any special features. Guests also understand and agree that he/she is responsible and liable and will pay Platinum Healing upon request for any damages that occur to the special features and its support equipment through the guest’s misuse and/or negligence.
The owners of the property and Platinum Healing Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, accident, injury or inconvenience, whether to person or property, which the applicant or any other person may suffer or sustain arising out of, or in respect of, any booking/letting.
Breach of Contract
If there is a breach of any of these conditions by the guest, the owners of the retreat reserve the right to re-enter the property and end the retreat and ask the guest to leave.
In the event that you have cause for complaint concerning the retreat, a treatment, product, service or the rental accommodation used by Platinum Healing, the matter should be taken up with the Retreat Manager immediately during the retreat so that an investigation can be made and appropriate action taken if required. This will enable us to deal with the specific problem, but also avoid it happening again
Equally, if you have any suggestions about how we might improve our service we will be happy to listen. If you also have suggestions for the venue property owners, you may also contact them directly. Please ask us for contact details if required.
The policy below sets out the procedures we will follow if we receive a complaint.
Under no circumstances will compensation (including, without limitation, refunds or date changes) or any other remedy be considered for complaints raised after a guest’s stay has ended when he or she did not allow Platinum Healing the opportunity of investigating the complaint and attempting to remedy the situation during the retreat.
Any complaint which cannot be resolved at the retreat must be notified in writing by email to Platinum Healing within 7 days of the group check out date. firstname.lastname@example.org
Every complaint submitted in writing within 7 days of the event concerned will be initially responded to within 5 to 10 working days, provided that all parties involved in the complaint are available and all information required regarding the complaint has been sufficiently collected.
If additional information is required by the guest relating to the complaint, they are to provide this to Platinum Healing for further analysis.
The complainant will be kept up to date on a weekly basis of progress.
Platinum Healing cannot accept responsibility for any disturbance or for any facilities that may not be available at the property during your stay due to maintenance works, or not suited to individual tastes and preferences.
Platinum Healing cannot accept responsibility for any complaints related to the rented accommodation, maintenance works and general wear and tear of the property. Any formal complaints should be taken up with the venue owners. Please contact us if you would like the property owners contact details.
All complaints will be monitored and kept on file by Platinum Healing for three years.
Complaints (regarding retreat packages and contractors/therapists)
Complaints related to the retreat programme or a member of the team should be brought to the attention of the Retreat Manager immediately who will endeavour to take whatever action is required to resolve the situation in the best possible way. Please note that a claim will be rejected if it is made after the retreat has finished.
Violation of Terms and Conditions
If the guest violates any of these Terms and Conditions, Platinum Healing may terminate the retreat booking. Upon notice of termination, Guest shall evacuate the premises immediately. In the event that Platinum Healing shall have to resort to a legal process to enforce its rights under these Terms and Conditions, Guest shall be responsible for all costs.
Error in the Transfer of Information
While every effort is made to replicate these Terms and Conditions and to accurately communicate them to guests, due to the nature of electronic transmission, no responsibility is or will be accepted by Platinum Healing for any loss or inconvenience incurred by errors in the transfer of information into electronic format.

I understand that there are safety and health precautions with the facilities, treatments, programs and consultations provided.
I accept full liability for my decision to utilise any and/or participate in the facilities, treatment programs, consultations and/or advice, recommendations, guidance, and I will not claim or demand any responsibility from Platinum Healing, the therapists or management should I experience any adverse reaction, loss or damage to myself or my property with any treatment, facility, program/s, consultation/s and/or advice, recommendations, guidance associated with the retreat.
I freely and knowingly assume the risks inherent in participation in the retreat, all therapies and treatments, fitness sessions and classes.
I hereby waive any right, claim, or cause of action against Platinum Healing, Kate Tyler and any of our therapists, associates, contractors and employees and release them from any liability for any injury, cost, damage, expense or claim, which I or anyone on my behalf might have as a direct or indirect result of my participation in a retreat and any of the treatments, therapies and classes. I also undertake to inform Platinum Healing, if anything in my medical history changes and the information I have given is correct.
As with any activity there is a risk of injury associated with Yoga, Pilates, fitness training, therapies and treatments. The decision to perform any exercise and undertake any treatments remains the individual’s. The participant agrees to take on full responsibility for their actions within the retreat and class and shall work within their own limits. If guests have any injuries or health concerns before or during the retreat it is their responsibility to notify the managers, therapists, teachers and instructors so that they are aware of your limits.
If you have any medical or health concerns, you must consult with your GP or medical practitioner. If you are taking medication of any kind you must also consult with your GP prior to commencing with a retreat.
At no time during the provision of any treatments by us will we make any medical diagnosis upon you and if we are in any doubt as to any medical conditions that you may have we will stop any treatment immediately as we will not be held responsible for any injury, loss and or damage to any person or property as a result of any treatment, negligence or otherwise. No claims or endorsements are made for any treatments that are available by us.
You are fully responsible for your own health throughout any treatment and/or stay with us and therefore it is your responsibility to ensure that you are medically fit to undergo any treatment.
I accept that the retreat and treatments may, or may not, assist in my health and personal growth. I understand that the retreat facilitators are not generally licensed medical practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists. I further understand that the retreat or any therapy provided is not intended to be a substitute for medical treatment.
I accept that I and my doctor/health care provider remain responsible for my health for the whole duration of my retreat with Platinum Healing and thereafter.
I do not have any doubts about my mental health, emotional stability, or physical ability to handle the retreat. Any doubts I may have had were resolved by me before I decided to enrol by consulting a physician, psychotherapist, or psychologist, who has no objection to my participation in the retreat.
I acknowledge that there is no reason why participation in the retreat would be deleterious to me or result in any later harm.
I accept that the retreat and treatments offer no guarantee of success from participation. I accept full responsibility for my own participation in the retreat and for all results. I am voluntarily choosing to participate in the retreat and treatments I have chosen, and I feel sufficiently informed to make this choice.
I understand I am free to leave the retreat at any time for any reason. I understand that I am responsible for notifying the manager if I choose to leave the retreat. If I feel I need assistance from anyone, professional or otherwise, I take full responsibility for leaving the retreat and obtaining it for myself. If I withdraw from the retreat for any reason whatsoever, no part of the fee shall be refunded.
I acknowledge and agree that the retreat, as well as my participation in the retreat, can be terminated at the discretion of the Manager for any reason at any time. In such an event I will not receive a refund.
I agree that any serious or persistent breach of the Terms & Conditions, or behaviour that is detrimental to the participation of others, may result in my immediate exclusion from the program without compensation.
I agree that the retreat is a private and personal experience for each participant. As such, I agree to respect the confidentiality of all participants. I also agree to respect the confidentiality, identity, and experience of any participant worldwide.
Platinum Healing has a non-refund policy so ensure that you are ready, committed and dedicated to the program and treatments you have chosen. There are no refunds for any unused portion of accommodation and/or treatments after commencement of your retreat should you chose to leave early.
I confirm that all my answers and other information which I submitted to attend the retreat were true and complete when given and remain true and complete at the date of signing this disclaimer, and that I did not omit anything relevant.
I agree and confirm the above Declarations and Consents, and I confirm that I have read and agree to all Terms & Conditions, Release of liability, waiver of claims, assumption of risks and indemnity agreement. I absolve Platinum Healing and anyone associated to Platinum Healing of any liability.
Platinum Healing Limited does not claim to diagnose or cure any medical treatment. Most guests attend our retreats with a host of health and medical conditions and concerns and the therapies and the retreat experience including the juice detox programs helps them to self-heal from a number of physical as well as psychological conditions. Whilst medical treatment is exempt from VAT, HM Revenue and Customs requires retreat centre’s that offer these services, to add VAT to guest’s invoices when their reason for attending is only for leisure and not for a health or medical reason.
Many people attend our program to assist them in dealing with many physical symptoms such as depression, anxiety, fatigue, fibromyalgia and stress related disorders. Digestive problems such as IBS, candida, constipation, detoxification. Diabetes, headaches, migraines, respiratory conditions or complaints such as asthma. Addictions, eating disorders, overeating and compulsive eating. High and low blood pressure, fertility issues, high cholesterol, adrenal fatigue, insomnia, low self-esteem, and self-confidence, ME, parasites, fibroids, weight issues, obesity, skin problems such as psoriasis and eczema and many other health conditions.
I confirm that my stay is for a health or medical issue which is VAT exempt. I understand that if my stay was for just leisure or a holiday my retreat is subject to 20% VAT.
Platinum Healing rent all properties to host our retreats. Any guest staying at any of the venues should also adhere to the specific terms and conditions of their stay.

We cannot guarantee availability of treatments or classes at Champneys Spa. All spa bookings and class bookings must go directly to Champneys. There is a £3 charge to pre book classes in advance, in addition to your retreat cost. Booking during your stay is free.

Platinum Healing and Platinum Health Shop do not consider any of the products sold on our website to be a cure or treatment for any disease. All product descriptions have been taken from the manufacturers labels. Individuals should consult with their own GP or medical practitioner before taking any supplements. Individuals should also seek clearance and opinion for any contra-indications with any medication they are taking from their GP, as well as consulting with a qualified Naturopath, Medical Herbalist or Nutritional Therapist prior to any purchase.
These Terms and Conditions supersede all previous editions and will apply to all confirmed reservations. Platinum Healing may modify, alter, delete or add new terms and conditions at any time without notice or guest consent.
