The aim of lymphatic drainage is to boost the immune system by draining waste in the lymphatic system by means of gentle massage. This massage results in reducing puffiness caused by water retention or poor circulation. It boosts the immune system to combat colds and flu and has a positive effect on cellulite, respiratory and skin problems.

If lymph fluid is left to build up it can leave the person feeling sluggish, drained of energy and more prone to disease and viruses. Flushing this out with lymphatic drainage is a great treat for the body and will leave you feeling healthy.

It is worth noting that the treatment is a very gentle massage which solely concentrate on the lymph nodes and system and not on the muscular system. It is relaxing in a different way to what you might consider a normal massage. It does not tackle muscular aches and pains.
