Yoga Teacher and Nutritional Therapist – Platinum Healing

Platinum Healing, an award winning retreat company is seeking a Yoga Teacher & Nutritional Therapist, to offer services on our monthly Juice Detox and Healing retreats in Glastonbury and Kent – UK. Accomodation can be provided for anyone who is not local but happy to travel. This is a great opportunity and full training will be provided.

Contract Description

  • Reporting directly to the founder of Platinum Healing
  • Conducting a Welcome Talk via Zoom, leading guests through a powerpoint presentation and demos.
  • Assist with set up and pack down of the retreat, as well as guest check ins and check outs.
  • Leading a small group of allocated guests throughout the retreat.
  • Guest and detox support, answering questions and dealing with all queries from your small group.
  • Holding space for your small group emotionally and energetically.
  • Teaching daily yoga/meditation/pranayama classes as scheduled and keeping to the scheduled times.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the yoga studio. Setting up prior to each class.
  • Daily group scheduled check in with your small group and individually checking in with them throughout.
  • Conducting 1-1 private yoga, pranayama, meditation tuition as booked by guests.
    Conducting post retreat Nutrition consultations via Zoom as booked by guests.
  • Promoting your 1-1 sessions during retreat and your post retreat nutritional consults.
  • Educational talks
  • Relaying any venue/accommodation issues to the property owners.
  • Act as a nutritional consultant and advisor to the Founder, which includes regularly suggesting improvements and changes to the detox program, retreat packages and operations. As well as keeping the founder informed of any relevant industry (detox, nutrition, retreat, yoga) news, breakthroughs, changes etc.
  • Suggest and promote therapies and treatments that will support the guest’s detox and healing journey.
  • Maintain client confidentiality, empathy and discretion always.
  • Assist with the kitchen, office or any other areas of the retreat as and when required.
  • Maintain administrative documents related to the retreat, therapy bookings etc.
  • Attend meetings and training either in person, telephone or Zoom as required and agreed with the founder.

RETREAT DURATION

Retreats run over 4 nights. Monday 12pm start to Friday 12pm finish with scheduled breaks as agreed. The retreats are usually monthly. The contract is subject to you being available for all retreat dates scheduled:

24th May – Glastonbury

21st June – Glastonbury

23rd August – Kent

13th Sept – Glastonbury

11th Oct – Glastonbury

8th Nov – Glastonbury

2022 Dates – TBC

RATES

Total fixed fee per retreat is negotiable. Travel allowance provided if travelling outside of your location. Accomodation provided if required. Percentage of all 1-1 sessions booked with guests.

Additional Income Available:

1 to 1 Nutrition Consultations post retreat via Zoom. Potential for 16- 20+ sessions post retreat. 1-1 yoga classes booked with guests during retreat.

TERMS

This is a contract role, so you will need to be registered as a company or self-employed. You will manage your own Tax and NI contributions. Payments are made the week after each retreat upon receipt of an invoice by bacs. Payment of 1-1 nutritional sessions is paid directly after the session has been completed. 30 day’s notice is required to terminate the contract. All contractors are to provide training certificates and valid insurance by email prior to commencement of the contract and provide updated insurance certificates upon each expiration.
